Overview

An ERP platform covering asset management, inventory, finance, HR, property and procurement, with business workflows and role-based access control.

Architecture

  1. Client

    • React
    • TypeScript
  2. API

    • ASP.NET Core
    • REST
    • RBAC
  3. Domain

    • Clean Architecture
    • Module per domain
    • EF Core
  4. Data

    • PostgreSQL
    • SQL Server

What it does

  • Modules for Asset Management, Inventory, Finance, HR, Property and Procurement.
  • Business workflows across the ERP modules.
  • Role-based access control (RBAC).
  • REST APIs consumed by a React + TypeScript front end.
  • Services containerised with Docker.

Engineering decisions

  1. Clean Architecture with modular boundaries

The system follows Clean Architecture with a modular structure, so business domains can be developed and maintained separately.

  2. RBAC as a first-class concern

Access is controlled by roles, which matters in a system where finance, HR and procurement data sit side by side.

  3. Relational data, modelled carefully

ERP data is relational and long-lived; EF Core over PostgreSQL / SQL Server keeps the data model explicit in code.
